LaBeouf is synonymous to blockbuster movies despite his youthful age.
The actor has risen to fame playing pretty predictable characters in
audience-friendly works, but in recent years, he’s done just about
everything in his power to distance himself from that image. A few
months back, a quest for artistic and crazier notion convinced him to
strip off in Sigur Ros absurd new video, and now, it apparently landed
him even to crazier places.
Film
roles are typically won via auditions or prior performances, but
there’s another way to do for the young superstar. In order to win the
leading role in Lars Von Trier’s upcoming erotic drama Nymphomaniac.
Shia LaBeouf went with a very unique and extremely X-rated plan, taped
himself having sex with his girlfriend and sent the footage to Von Trier
as a way to prove he’d be willing to have the real sex required for the
film.
Jamie Bell,
Stellan Skarsgard, Connie Nielsen and several others have also boarded
the project in recent weeks or months, and it’s unlikely all of them
participated in this wild scheme. For some people LaBeouf decision to
have real sex in a movie is total art and to many it may be utter
nonsense. It is tough to question the transformation of the Transformer
star.
