A town of passionate lovers for cinema, an epic tale of love and life and a few ads of fiction and fantasy, this is what forms the south film industry.
So yes the 70s and 80s had the colorful sets, bell-bottoms, shades of yellow, pink, red and green dupattas, bright make-up, the curly hairstyle and yes of course the most popular artistes. Their story lines consisted of the good old maas giving their famous dialogues and then the hero asking his heroine on a date.
So what has changed so much over the past few years?? What has made the petite and simple stars take a bold and beautiful aura?? Has competition taken rise to the optimum level, or has the personality and charm changed from introvert to extrovert???
While the oldies preferred restricting themselves to certain elite roles and usually worked on the same over and over again, the stars today are multitasking. Portraying different characters from elegance to vivacious, they are ready of any character that challenges their role. From the 'Sati Savitru Bahus' to 'The Hunky Handsome Villains' or the 'Laugh Out Loud Comedians', there's variety and spice in their performance.
As time has passed by, milestones have been crossed a 100 times, so has everyone tasted the sour grapes as change is inevitable.
But this hasn't stopped the superstars from reigning or creating a mark on the industry nor have their attitudes changed towards their work commitments.
So when was the last time you decided to change to bring about a recognition?????
